As many of you know, at NM Escape Room we currently operate with sessions that are private bookings; this means that a booked session comprised of at least 4 participants secures the game private for that group, and no one else can access the unbooked spots in that session. This has been very well received as the majority of customer groups prefer to play the escape game only with people they know as opposed to playing the game with strangers. We’ve got lots in store for 2018! We are excited to announce the opening in early April of our newest escape game, Bombshell! It will be joining it’s counterpart, Nefertari’s Tomb, located at our facility on 4401 Mcleod Rd NE. This game will start out with an important goal in mind as the mob bosses from crime syndicates all over the city convene to discuss the pressing matter of a shared enemy, Don Bosargio. Pull up your boots and get your wits about you! NM Escape Room has designed a new western themed mission based escape scenario, Duel at Dusk, and it’s a great game for the whole family. This escape game has the highest success rate of all of our scenarios, but don’t let that fool you. It’s still a doozy of a puzzle. The Blood Map scenario has had a great run. It was the first scenario that we debuted when we opened back in 2015, and the first scenario that our community got to experience locally. It has been so much more than just a great room. The Blood Map has taught folks that “white equals 7” and that a random bolt isn’t what it seems, to explore every square inch of an escape game, and more importantly, that discovering a hidden room behind a book shelf is one of the best things since sliced bread. We operated for 2 years having all of our sessions open for booking by groups up to 8 participants. What this means is that if a group of 4 books a scenario, there is the potential that another group of 4 could join them in that same scenario. We did it this way because that was pretty much an industry standard in the United States when we opened. All the various games we played operated under this policy, so we saw nothing wrong with emulating this practice.
